Question about Honeywell CT87B ROUND HEATING&COOLING MECHANICAL THERMOSTAT - WHITE Heater
On my 2002 envoy while drining on normal highway or streets the temperature in at 190 or 195 but when I go up on steep hills or roads the temperature hits 210 but when I'm back on normal road it goes back to 190 or 195 is this normal or do I have a problem I need to check out. Also it does not over heat at all. This temperature only changes on steep hill or roads.Any hints
Sounds normal. The harder the engine and transmission work the warmer they get. The fact that it cools back down during normal driving conditions is great. If it didn't, you'd have a problem.
