Re: The yellow caable for the c42ux will not fit baack on...
OK - since you won't respond, we'll assume that the problem is a loose drive belt. To check this and repair it you will need to remove the printer top cover. Once you have done this, check that the spring assembly is intact on the left end of the drive belt. If it isn't you will need professional help to fix this. If it's OK, then look at the drive motor end on the right. If the belt has come off the drive pinion, you must loosen the two screws holding the drive motor. This will permit you to get the drive belt back on the pinion. Make sure the drive motor is held in the correct position when you re-tighten the two screws. Test the printer before replacing the cover.

The only reason behind that is the Cartridge that you have installed is not properly fit in the Printer.
Remove it again and check and see if there is anything stuck there that is stopping the cartridge to fit properly.
Install it again the way it should fit completely in the printer and should not move a bit.
The ink path is probably plugged. Try getting some ink cleaner and a squeeze bulb to purge the path IN the printer by forcing cleaning fluid into the yellow channel (cartridge removed). After it flows, it will likely take a bit to get the yellow flowing. If you have a refill kit, you could "encourage" the flow with it. Nothing you can fix by cartridge, the problem is in the printhead.
Hi sharifjaafar, Below is a link to the Epson website that has drivers for your printer. Just click on the link, or if it doesn't work, copy and paste it into your browser window. Select your operating system and download the driver. There are also other support links on this page. Hope this helps! I solved this problem; there was a white plastic "piece" stuck upwards and all I did was push it back down. Now the cartridges are able to go all the way to the right and the printer is working properly. Looks like I need to replace the cartridges now, that's all.
