I have a multimedia projector NEC VT470 and is getting red picture.

If you are using the vga input connection please take a look at all the pins and make sure none are bent this could be the reason you are missing one of the primary colors. If not check your cable pins.

Hitachi projector cp-s318 and the pictures give off a red tint.

Hi,

Make sure the Computer Input is set to VGA, Computer, or RGB (depending on which projector model you have). Go through the menu settings of your projector.

Hope this helps

The color of the presentation is distorted when it is projected from the BenQ DX660 Projector. It looks like the red is not coming through.

I I may have you try a simple test first, I have seen several no red problems fixed by changing or wiggling the vga lead to the computer. Also look for bent gold pins on the vga lead. I would do that first. Also go through the menu system and see if there is red in one of the icons on the screen to see if it is showing correct colour.
Good Luck!

Red does not show up

You have a break in the VGA feed to your projector, try another lead and try menu see if it is missing from there if not it is the lead.

Colors showing red on screen

Hi Stella,
There is a button on the projector called "Auto Image"
Most people don't realize it's even there.
Press it while you are seeing this problem and most likely the projector will figure out the image issue and all will be well.
Note: this feature is nowhere in the menu(s)

Good Luck!
