Question about Konica Minolta magicolor 2400 Laser Printer

1 Answer

Error light I had a paper jam, cleared it and upon start up I heard a clunk, now I get a fast lightning bolt error code all of the time. I have restarted with no change. Is this something that I can fix? I tried a few repair places, but no one wants to work on the 2400w. Thanks

Start the Konica Minolta Status application and check the error, you should get more info there.

How do I clear Error 6000 in ip 4970 Canon. Start and Resume light blinks.

In the case of your receiving the Error 6000 code from 4970, you must either reset the printer (you've tried that, so forget it), or you must remove paper jammed in the machine (somewhere - this code is not specific as to location, so you have to go through the entire machine, inspecting minutely, and clearing/cleaning out anything found...), or else the machine is 'broken' i.e. in need of a service tech - or, if still under warranty, perhaps an exchange or servicing for minimal or no charge (depending upon specifics of the warranty coverage.) To clear the paper jam, go through the procedures outlined and detailed on http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=105&modelid=15651 (enter removing paper jams in the search box and click Search, then click on the red results link labeled Paper is jammed inside the printer and then click on the red results link that comes up, labeled Removing paper jams MX700. Procedures shown on this page are detailed and well illustrated.) If that (efforts at clearing paper jams) do not clear your error code, your printer will need servicing (and its warranty coverage checked on - you can go to http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&tabact=SupportDetailTabAct&fcategoryid=105&modelid=15651 enter warranty check and then click on the Search button, then click on the red results link labeled What is the warranty or (are) service options? to see what the servicing under warranty options are for your Canon printer.) HP error code 363, what does this mean?

I went online and found the HP8600 user manual and this is their solution to the error code 363 that you reported, which I copied off their site. Hope this works for you:

  • Turn Error Correction Mode (ECM) off, if you encounter the same error repeatedly. Click this link HP All-in-One and Fax Products for more information on enabling or disabling ECM.

    beaac3qsmgaaaaaelftksuqmcc

NOTE: Error codes that apply specifically to ECM have ECM listed next to them.

Error Code: 356, 357, 358, 359, 360, 361, 362 ECM, 363 ECM, 364 ECM, 365 ECM, 366 ECM

Definitions

  • The remote user pressed the Stop key, causing the session to be terminated.
  • The remote machine encountered a system problem such as no paper or a paper jam. This prevented the fax from receiving any more pages, and caused it to terminate the session prematurely.
  • The call-waiting service can cause this error. The click, heard for an incoming call, is actually a momentary disconnect of the line.
  • The remote machine encountered an incompatible feature causing it to terminate the session.

Solutions

  • Configure the remote machine for document reception by clearing any paper jams, loading sufficient paper, and clearing any other error messages.
  • Configure the local fax machine to use a slower reception speed.
  • Enable or disable the ECM setting.

4TH LIGHT FROM THE TOP KEEPS COMING ON LEXMARK E232

What this light sequence means that the printer has a paper jam.

When a paper jam occurs, the printer stops and the operator panel's Paper Jam light and Continue button lights come on. Press and release Continue twice quickly to display the specific secondary error paper jam light sequence.

How to clear Paper Jam

Press Continue button twice quickly to see the secondary error code.

To get the secondary error codes

When the Error light (!) and Continue button lights are both on, a secondary error has occurred.

When the Paper Jam light (4th light) and Continue button lights are both on, a paper jam secondary error has occurred.

Press and release Continue button twice quickly to display the secondary error code light sequence.

Press Continue button to resume printing once all the jammed pages are cleared from the paper path.

We recommend that you clear the entire paper path when a paper jam occurs.

To clear a paper jam:

1 If you are feeding paper from a tray, remove the tray, and then remove any jams.

2 Open the front cover and remove the print cartridge assembly.

NOTE: Do not leave the print cartridge assembly exposed to direct light for an Extended period of time. Extended light exposure can cause print quality problems.

3 Remove any jams in the area behind the print cartridge assembly.

4 Lift the flap at the front of the printer and remove any jams beneath the flap.

5 Open the rear exit and remove any jams.

6 After you have cleared the jams, reinstall the print cartridge assembly, make sure all printer covers and trays are closed, and then press Continue button to resume printing.

NOTE: The printer reprints the pages that caused the paper jam.

Error paper jam light still flashing after jammed paper has been removed and all covers are closed

Unpluging the printer for ten to fifteen minutes after removing the paper jam. This will clear all the memory in the printer and the error codes. If the error code still pops up contact the manufactor.

E3 is saying there is still a paper scrap inside, it's a jam error. Usually either a scrap or paper clip or something inside, otherwise a broken or bent sensor flag giving a jam error.

Error code E522. How to fix this?

You have an issue with your staple finisher, probably need to inspect the stapler unit itself to make sure nothing is jammed in it and it moves freely. If you can't clear the error then most likely the unit is defective.

Hope this helps,

Error 6A00

The 6A00 is a Canon generic code for paper path jam.

Solution 1:
Move the printhead carriage back and forth a few times.

Solution 2:
Check the purge unit: Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like.

Solution 3:
Press the ink pads down in the purge unit.

Error Message: Lightning Bolt A

Remove the tray and check the wire you mentioned, that it is connected to the paper end sensor.
Probably the paper end sensor has its plastic legs broken.
If so, replace the paper end sensor and you will solve the error message.

Good luck and please rate me, thanks.
