The LG Shine will only save messages to the SIM card after the internal phone memory is full (150 messages). This all happens automatically, and as far as I can tell, there is no way to force the phone to choose. Also, note that the SIM card will only store 30 messages. You can select the options menu
hello friend u can connect through your data cable so that u can see both phone memory and memory card also so u can change or save what ever u want , if have any more here is my yahoo id remo4mail
The LG Shine allows you to do a multiple picture DELETE - but not a multiple pic transfer to memory card, at least that I've found. You have to transfer your pics one at a time from phone memory to the SD card as follows:
Select Menu --> 8 My Stuff --> 4 Pictures Highlight the pic you want to transfer using the center toggle button, then select Options --> 5 Move (or 4 Copy) --> 2 Memory Card --> Paste
Once your pics are on the memory card then put the phone into USB mode by selecting Menu --> 9 Settings --> 7 Connection --> 2 USB Connection Mode --> 2 Mass Storage
Then attach a suitable USB cable to the phone at the charging jack and open Explorer (Windows) or Finder(Mac) and navigate to the phone. Your pictures will appear and you can copy them to your computer as needed.
NOTE: be sure to return the phone from Mass Storage mode to Data Service or your phone will not work.
Also - set your phone to highest resolution for best quality pics. Menu --> 8 My Stuff --> 7 Camera and Recordings --> 1 Take Photo --> Options --> 4 Resolution --> 1 1600x1200
Same thing here. I put the card into the phone and then hooked phone up to the computer and it recognized it. If you're downloading songs for use as a walkman, the default setting for the card will work. I got the card to make my own ringtones and had to set it to 'mass storage' in order to drag my tones in. I found the program for downloading songs directly to the phone too confusing for me.
I have the LG 970. my phone you can save all the song on you sd card. There is a section on my LG menu wich says "my stuff" If i click on it, then click on external memory, then click on sound. i can access any song recorded on my sd card and save it as a ringtone. try it, it might work on your phone.
