I just replaced the crankshaft sensor 1-2 weeks ago. A few days before that the battery was replaced. I drive almost every day. This morning I went to start my car and the engine will not even attempt to turn over. The lights and a/c work, but I don't even hear the struggling noise I have heard when I had issues with the starter (which I replaced a year ago). I checked the starter fuse and the battery terminals and everything seems to be fine. I drove the day before last and nothing unusual happened. I see some mention the timing belt. I replaced that summer of last year.
The timing belt will not have anything to do with the motor turning over trying to start. First make sure u do have a very strong battery. Could be a bad connection or a broken wire to starter also.

Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter. The fuel filter should be replaced every 15,000 miles or once a year to ensure the fuel system is running 100%. Auto Zone will have the fuel filter and can give you the step by step instructions to getting the job done with common tools. If it's the fuel pump failure, you have not gotten the car restarted. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to know you got your car running 100% again soon and please rate.
