Question about GE DBSR453EBWW Electric Dryer
The dryer makes a loud squealing noise, it is not constant, but comes and goes. It continues to dry clothes. I am pretty handy and have just cleaned out all the lint and hoses and they weren't too bad.
I started to take the one screw off inside the dryer on the backside of drum and got a little nervous.
I am looking for some help and would love to be able to fix this. The dryer itself is 10 years old.
Is it worth repairing?
Yes its worth repairing, it sounds like a simple fix, could be pulley, or seal replacement but for the price of some machine oil, or part, well worth it. The intelli dry pulls apart from front, with the door and top is hinged. A little time consumeing but I think still worth it.
