Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I have a toshiba satillite M115-S1064 model PSMB6U-00G00C, it has a Fixed Optical Disk Drive, CD-RW
CD-ROM (24x), CD-R
(24x), CD-RW (24x), DVD-ROM (8x), I would like to upgrade it to somthing like a
DVD SuperMulti (+/-R double layer) drive supporting 11 formats
o Maximum speed and compatibility: CD-ROM (24x), CD-R (24x), CD-RW (10x), DVD-ROM (8x), DVD-R (Single Layer, 8x), DVD-R (Double Layer, 2x), DVD-RW (4x), DVD+R (Single Layer, 8x), DVD+R (Double Layer, 2.4x), DVD+RW (4x), DVD-RAM (5x)
Is this possible and if it is what do you recommend.
As far as i know thats impossible. Your optical diskdrive is made just for those speeds that you have on it. You cant change the manufacture settings and speed it upp, or make it to an dual layer disk.
Buy a new one whit the needs that u want and replace the old one. Its easy done and its not that expensive.
Good luck to you
