The process is different depending on what OS you have, and what updates have been applied to the OS.

Follow any of the links that match your OS.

NT
XP
2003
Vista

Good luck =)

I forgot my password and can't get to my account

You should be able to conduct a recovery of your system by rebooting and following the steps which quickly follow for system setup before the operating system comes online. then use your recovery disk to help you get your user name and password reinstated. It would help if we had more information on your system and software.

I forgot the password to get in the computer for my medion 4210 how do i log in now? thanks Alex

if it is the windows XP password you have forgotten, try booting into safe mode by pressing F8 as the system starts up then choosing safe mode, then log in as administrator, most people do not put passwords on thier administrator accounts. Once logged in as administrator go to control panel and users and reset your password. then reboot the machine. if there is an administrator password which you do not know then you would need to hack the password which is complicated!

Administrative password by pass

Operating system, please? Is this your laptop? Did you set it up? You need to be an administrator to install software. If you set it up you should have created an admin password or left it blank. Try logging in as administrator without a password and then go into user accounts to change your login to have administrator rights.

Cant log in windows!

Restart the computer and as soon as it starts booting up start tapping on F8 key on your keyboard.
The computer would show you advanced boot options.. select "Safe mode" from the list.
When it asks for Administrator's password, leave the password blank and hit enter .. If you have not set any password for the safemode (normally many users don't) then it would log you on and you can go to the control panel and reset the administrator's password or you can even create a new user profile.
Once you complete the above process, restart the computer and let it boot normally.
Now try logging in with the new password or the new user account that you might have created while in the safe mode.

Let me know if that works for you. All the best.
And yes, Do not forget to rate this solution :)

Regards,
Srinivas.
