Normally the gogear software CD comes along with the player. I fnot check on the main website or download site: www.userdrivers.com/MP3-Player/???Philips-GoGear-SA3104-SA3105-SA3114-SA3115-SA3124-SA also check on this link
Normally the software ( a micro cd) comes along with the go gear. If you have not reccieved it please check if the items had been misplaced. If not go to the Philips website searching for software for gear media convertor, download the file and install into your PC for converting all the files to be loaded into your gogear. I think there is the version idicated in the site against the compatable models. This should work alright. I hope this adivce helps you. Good day

Try using Windows Disk Manager.
Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Computer Management
In the Tree-List on the right, you want
Storage -> Disk Management
if you can't see the tree-list select the appropriate button on the toolbar, you should be looking at something like this: http://attachments.techguy.org/attachments/129148d1206573004/disk-manager.jpg
Select your 'volume' from the list in the main part of the window and right-click. Somewhere in the menu it should say 'Format'. Select this and move through the stages.
(When asked use FAT or FAT32, not repeat not NTFS. NTFS is for Windows hard-drives only)
