try viewing hidden files by going to options then folder option and then tick show hidden files or folders and then apply....if this doesnt work....i am sorry my friend your pendrive isnt working good at all...might need a replacement
you just accidentally hide your newly created folder. go to tools it in your upper view. click the folder options. > view > click the show hidden files and folders > and also unchecked the hide protected operating system file (Recommended). after that you will see the folder that you create. im sure virus and trojans are responsible for that.
I would suggest doing it from the file explorer and not the DOS. That is assuming your are using a a OS like windows, and not DOS. First you need to go to Folder and search options and make sure you can see hidden files and folders. Then navigate to you USB drive and right click the folder, go to properties and and hide it. If you aren't sure on how do that exactly, just reply back with your OS information and what your trying to do, and I will give more exact detail oriented steps.
This is a funny one. It appears the folders are empty and therefore one assumes the files were dragged off and placed somewhere else. As it is a flash drive there is no recovery possible. Just make sure you have in your control panel and then folder options and then view show hidden files and folders ticked. If you still cannot see them then try another computer and see if they can be seen on that. One other option is stick the flash into a mac and see what happens with that. If no the sorry you have lost them.
think it could be due to virus activity. Some virus make the contents
of the drive hidden, thats why user can't see the files. It is suggested that go
to FOLDER OPTIONS - and select SHOW HIDDEN FILES. It may show the
hidden files. Otherwise, from the system you can see your data, copy all the required files/data. Select the required files and righ-click and change the properties of the file by un-checking the hidden attribute. After copying data and ensuring that the data is on hard drive just format pen drive. Also, make sure that you have a good antivirus installed and its updated.
