STATIC IN RIGHT SPEAKER

I HAVE STATIC IN THE RIGHT SPEAKER OF MY ACER ONE, DONT KNOW WHAT'S CAUSING THIS.

ANY INFO ?

Generally if it is only one side, the actual speaker has failed. Try connecting headphones, if they are fine than the soundcard (chip) is fine.

This would indicate that the speaker has failed (a lose connection inside can do this as well but that is much more rare).

if these speakers are external as it looks like
try swapping the speakers around if the problem still persists either the speaker is faulty or
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
or you might have to clean the dust from your computer dust causes static which causes your computer to overheat and all sorts of problems
be sure to wear an anti static earth strap before touching anything inside your computer try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the CPU central processing unit and your SOUND CARD dust causes static to build up in a computer causing it to overheat any many other problems
if the problem still persists
if its still under warranty take it back

Why is it that only one of my Philips speaker is working on the right side, but not on the left side speaker (no sound coming from it at all) after plugging into the USB port of my ACER laptop computer...

I purchased theses speakers January, 2011. At first they worked fine. Then I started having problems getting sound out of the left speaker. The sound would return when I plugged and unplugged the speaker...

Hello I have a set of Altec Lansing ADA215 speakers, and one of my speaker has very low sound level. This was not before I dont now what happend I hope you guys have an idea. Thanks B.Versloot

The static is probably coming from the computer sound card itself. Turn the volume down on the computer mixer it should limit the static you are hearing.

first check the sound options if it is alright then check the connections though you problem is not solved you have to replace the speaker.

Static from left speaker when adjusting volume control


You might try replacing the connection cables. Old cables can cause the problem you have experienced.
