Blank Picture i have a hp pavilion but im not at this moment able to receive pictures ive tried restarting and refreshing my computer but at this moment nothing is working please help

Try hooking your computer to an external monitor...if you get a picture then more than likley your lcd screen needs replacing...if no picture then its maybe your lcd inverboard needs replacement.

After the computer boots, try pressing the function key (Fn) and F5 to refresh the monitor. If nothing happens, try plugging in an external monitor via the VGA port.
Does it bleep? do you wan't the bad news or the bad news,It's a comon fault with all HP DV models,the graphic chips gone & it can't be replaced. But just to make sure,plug a desktop monitor in to the VGA port on the side of the laptop then restart it. if theirs no picture then bad look,bin it,If their is a picture then you just need a new screen.
Hi, This can happen due to many reasons one if the ram is defective or there are lots of junk files like in the temp directory/folder etc...please remove them and then check the issue.
Did it download as a .zip(compressed) file? If so, you will have to uncompress;unzip; or extract the file before it will work...you should get a prompt asking if you want to run,ect.
I have the same problem with my hp pavilion! ive tried everything and cant get anything to appear on the screen. Keeps rebooting every 15 sec or so. Did you ever find a solution to this?

Check to see if the TV can support the resolution and refresh rate (ie 1920X1080 at 60HZ) Most HDTV's have a limited number of resolutions and refresh rates that they are compatible with. When the computer is booting up, it is probably using a default resolution that is compatible with the tv. Then after the computer finishes loading all of it's drivers, the resolution changes to one not supported by your tv
