Question about RTO Waste King AH-780-UL Quick&Hot Instant Hot Water Dispenser - Tank Only
I tried reducing the thermastat but there was no reduction in leaking. We have hard water and a percipitate forms on the base of the unit. The leak seems to be worsening over the course of our ownership. Thanks.
You can probably repair this by removing the fittings and replacing any plastic compression rings with new ones. Everything else can be cleaned with grade "0000" steel wool. This will get rid of any deposits without damaging the surfaces. ! or @ careful wraps of Teflon Tape to the MALE threads will help get a good seal.
