wel if its a wireless mik make sure the number on the mik is the same as the number on the guitar or drums or even the controller but if its a wired mik well then the wire inside the mik must have brokin away but i reccomend useing a wireless mik wen playing guitar hero wt its a lot easier on urself.

you have to open the thing on the wii where you put the SD card, and there will be a red button. Press it. Then, plug in the remote to to controller, open the battery compartment and press the red button. This should sync the remote to the wii. In the future you have to plug in the remote to the controller BEFORE the wii is turned on. As for your second problem i dont know.
yes you need a seperate controller for each instrument. as well as a seperate one for the microphone it can be confusing because unlike the other instruments it doesnt actually connect to the microphone.
