Question about Insignia IS-LCDTV32 32 in. Television
My insignia will turn on if I press the power button. But if I press the channel up or down button the screen flashes black like it is going to change but then resumes the same channel. My remote is messed up too which is why i started using buttons. I reset the remote once and it worked fine for a few months, but now it wont even turn the tv on even with fresh batteries and a blinking signal indicator, before it stopped working it would use the wrong function for a button, like if I pressed 1and 9 for nineteen it would change to 39. Or if I hit the channel return button it would go to a random channel, like 0. It is just acting weird and seems to be stuck on vh1. HELP.
The problem lies in themain board in the tv. you can buy one from ebay for around $80 used. its not to bad to replace either. just remove the back panel the main board it the tin/ metal wit hthe ciruit board in it on the left side same side as the power botton just unplug the 5-7 wires and unscrew the 2-3 screws and carfully side that board out and replace with a new workign one and put back together and you should be good to go.
please rate my answer it is much apreceated

Tips for a great answer:
•Stand within operating range of the
Insignia TV, then aim the remote at the TV's receiver and press the
"Lock" button on the remote control.
• Aim the remote at the TV and press the
channel buttons to make sure the TV is unlocked. When the TV is locked, it
shows a black screen and does not allow you to view anything else. If the
screen remains black, press the "Lock" button again. If this doesn't
work, change the batteries in the remote and start over at step .
