This could be a multitude of problems. It could be a virus, spyware, malware, bad drivers, or a bad install of Vista. We can give cleaning up the system a shot.

If you can keep the system online long enough, try using CCleaner to clean up your system's registry. (Back up the registry before cleaning it up!)

    www.ccleaner.com

You might also want to try some virus scans to ensure no bugs are messing with your computer. Here are some programs I recommend:

NOD32 Anti-Virus (Use the free trial)
    Ad-Aware Free
    Spybot Search & Destroy
    AVG Anti-Rootkit Free

Run one scan at a time or there might be some conflicts. When installing Spybot Search & Destroy, make sure the option to install TeaTimer is not checked!

Let us know how it works out.

This problem I had multiple times. The way I solved this was by reinstalling the O.S on my computer. Yes, you will have to lose everything, but if you want to use that computer again that's what should be done. However, there is a way to retain all your files. if you go out and buy a Hard Drive Case, and extract your internal Hard Drive from your Computer, You can hook up that hard Drive to your case and upload all your files onto another computer. A Case for your hard drive costs roughly 15-120$, depending on how fancy of a case you want.

This means that the Windows has crashed. NTLDR is the program that loads Windows NT. Try rebooting in safe mode. If the problem still persists then reinstall Windows. Follow the link below to save your data and still reinstall Windows.

Passport essential crashes windows pc reboots

It is common problem for portable devices with many file errors.

It will only crash if you try to open the passport Essential drive.

This can be resolved by running Check Disk program through normal boot or on safe mode.

just run "command prompt" and type "chkdsk [drive letter of passport] /F /R" without the colon.

hope this solves your problem ;)

Computer crashed?

Ouch, sorry to hear that, your os is corrupt, could be one of many reasons including a virus, or just a corrupt HD. Get the OS disk that came with your computer and reboot, make sure to boot the DVD/CD not the HD, start the install process, you will eventually get to point where you can select to do a repair, choose that and see if it will recover, if it does you shouldnt lose anythig, but you will need to reload some drivers and an update.

Acer M3100 crashed

I'd suggest there is a possible hardware error. You need to get into the bios and check the temperatures they'll be under 'system health' or similar. Also might be worth running a ram check. Download 'windiag' it's a microsoft program designed to check your ram and it is very good.

I have a CyberPower Gamer Ultra 6230 Desktop PC

Windows systems are notorious for crashing for any number of reasons and in a number of ways. Some of these crashes are mild and can easily be overcome simply by closing a nonresponding application or by rebooting the system. However, others are more serious and can bring the entire system to its knees. Microsoft calls these types of crashes "Stop errors" because the operating system stops responding. When a Stop error occurs, the GUI is replaced by a DOS-like blue screen with a cryptic error message followed by a code number. This screen is affectionately referred to as the Blue Screen Of Death.

Hi efash ,

Every bluescreen problem has a solution, but we need to know the "STOP (bluescreen) error" code to resolve the issue .This time when you get the bluescreen error , please note down the complete error code along with the STOP message on a piece of paper.
Once you have noted down the error, click on the link below and check the the solution .
