Question about Lexmark JetPrinter X1185 All-In-One InkJet
EVERY TIME I PUSH PRINT AN ERROR POPS UP (THE PRINTER CANNOT COMMUNICATE WITH COMPUTER)IT TELLS ME TO TRY SOME THINGS I TRYED EVERY THING IT TOLD ME TO DO AND IT STILL WONT WORK WHAT COULD BE THE PROBLEM??????my lexmaek 1185 doesot print everything is set up in the right way it says my printer is offline

A couple of ideas to consider/try:

Generally, this is an indication of a problem with the printer driver.
Things to do:
Ensure the printer is on and ON-Line
Ensure the printer cable is properly connected to both the printer and computer.
If those do not resolve, then unplug the usb cable from the computer and power off the printer. Next uninstall the printer driver from Control Panel Printers and uninstall and lexmark software in add/remove programs, then reboot the computer.
After rebooting, download the latest printer driver from the lexmark site. Run the driver install, and when prompted, connect the USB cable and power on the printer and finish the printer installation.
Once completed, reboot and ensure the printer functions.
If that fails to resolve, post any error messages "Word for Word" and any messages on the LCD of the printer so we can give further advice
