Have you attempted a reset of the camera?
Remove battery and memory cards, press reset button (inside the memory card door above the mem stick slot)

Reset the camera by removing and replacing the battery then (what they don't tell you in the manual) Turn the camera on and press the reset button (inside the memory card compartment) After pressing the reset button, turn camera off then on again. All these steps may seem redundant, but I've had very good results using these steps.

Nikon d80 problem (err flashing with r09 in the lcd display)

I belive this isn't a fault but more to do with how you are using the camera. The r09 message is to do with the camera buffer and how many more pictures it can hold. You do have a memory card installed, right? The r09 is normally not an error, but simply an indicator of how many more pictures you can take in the current burst before the buffer fills. The number will vary according to the image quality and size settings.

My d 80 gives an err message on the lcd and r 09 is flashing on it, the shutter just clicks and makes the sound but no picture taken, i am frustrated please help

The r09 just tells you how many pictures you can shoot before the internal memory buffer is full. It's not an error message2_bing.gif. If the camera isn't taking a picture, then it's something unrelated to the R09 message. If the shutter clicks, then it probably IS taking a picture.

I'm getting an error message of E:91:01. I still

E:91:01 is a flash unit error, probably meaning your flash is inoperative .
Try settings, main menu, setup, initialise.
If this does not work, then new flash module required.

I get an error message, E:91:01 blinking ,I can't find Reset bottom under LCD cover

Hi!
It's flash error. Could be a dead flash fuse on the main board or bad flash board. Contact your local Sony service center, but if they ask too much, you can contact me at toms.safranovs@gmail.com and I will give you a good price.
I work in Sony service center.

Nikon D70 with brand new Sandik ultra11 2gb flash card error CHR

Go to the Nikon site and upgrade the firmware on your D70 to version 2.0.

Before doing that, try turning the camera off, wait a min, then back on. That sometimes clears the error. The D70 is having trouble reading the card(s) you're putting in. The upgrade fixes that.

Error message E18

Lens errors (E18 errors on Canons) are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

E:91:01

I've had my dsc w50 for about 2.5yrs and its just started the same milarky! Go to menu, set up 1 and re-initialise, it cleared for me then came back again. Went through the same process just now and error has gone for time being, although I think the flash is on its way to heaven. Some pictures are dark and others completely white out!!

Taking it in to the sony shop tomorrow to see if they can lend any advice - I hope it doesn't mean a new camera as I've not over used it....

Let me know how you get on

System Error

Hello,
If you have little knowledge of electronics hardware, then open the cabinet of camera and pull out every flexible connection cable and reinsert them. I would like to advise you to pay full attention while doing so, because these felxible cables ban be break easily and keep distance from Flash Circuit as it holds enough voltage for nice electric shock :)) hope porblem will be resolve.
