Your speakers will still make sound if blown, it just wont be good sound, are you sure you have all the cables connected correctly?

Panasonic SA-DM3 shutting down issue

The amplifier is over heating. Probably the emitters, drivers and voltage regulator is bad. I suggest a clean sweep replacing the power pack integrated amp, all emitters, mosfet regulator, and SRC power switch start up control.

Hi I have a panasonic theatre surround system model number SA-HT900 but I need a remote for the unit but can't find one anywhere . There is another model a panasonic SC-HT900 will the remote for this...

The remote for the SC-HT900 will work with the SA-HT900. The SA-HT900 refers to the model number of the amplifier of the home theater system but the model number for the whole home theater system including the speakers is SC-HT900.

≥Check the connections.

≥Turn the volume up.

≥Turn muting off.

≥Switch off the unit, determine and correct the cause, then switch the unit on.

Causes include:

-Shorting (bare wires touching) of positive and negative speaker wires.

-Using speakers with an impedance lower than that rated for this unit.

-Straining of the speakers through excessive volume or power.
-Using the unit in a hot environment without proper ventilation.

How much powerfull (in tems of watt) the home theatre system should be for a 6mx6m room?

That's a highly subjective question that depends on a multitude of variables we can't possibly consider for you.

Perhaps you should google this and read some of the hits.

"how much audio power needed"

and check this out...
http://sound.westhost.com/power.htm

for an article that will put what you read for specifications of a given amplifier into a realistic context.

Or this one, which is more serious...

Hi folks!!!

Might be cheaper to pick-up a sub-woofer and a set of speakers at the local store. I checked e-bay..no luck, and it doesn't look like Panasonic will sell separates. It will be easy to get a color match.

this means you likeley have your cable box connected correctly, if you have it connected to a standard definition input (AV in or coaxial) make sure the that the dvd player is not in progressive mode.

Home theatre but TV without audio outlet

I would suggest that you smash
Philips HTS w/a hammer!
I had better sound from TV alone! Only 2 speakers put out sound from TV. Recordings from DVR can not be heard very well w/all volumes at max. System sucks! You get what you pay for! $2500 LCD TV sounds worse w/Philips HTS than my son's $300 TV! ALL cables hooked up as instucted!!!!
