My Kodak ESP 5 Won't print entire documents, only first page
Of course, I have been printing documents for years. I know how to set up the "print" window. But, no matter what settings I enter when printing from my Mac to Kodak ESP 5, I only get one page. I've tried printing the entire document and the document range (1-25, for example) but I only get the first page. HELP!

You will only get the calibration page no matter what you try because the printer needs to complete that task before it will let anything else get printed. This cannot be avoided for this model printer! Just follow the instructions as listed on the calibration page (even though you think it may not be needed) and then the printer will act normally!
It sounds as if the pictures are stored that way, especially if you've changed printers. Try downloading a color document and printing it. Do you get the same result? Also did you reload the software when you set up the new one? It's always good to delete the existing driver and start with a new one.
try to do some print test page using you computer. If your using windows XP you can print a test page under control panel and printer and faxes, Just click the icon of your printer then properties. If the test page printed the test page it means computer is fined
Just check the settings of word document. make sure your printer is selected as default printer
As far as the quantity of black & white - to get more out of it - go to start menu.. Click on on settings,, then printers,, Right click on the ESP 5,, click on printing preferences,, then clcik on draft,, then click on (at the top) advanced,, click on black & white.. Then click on apply then ok..
Now - every time you print it will be in this mode.. If you want to print in color - you will have to choose that each time..
For you black & white docs - this will print faster & use allot less ink..
As far as your color issue & puddling - It could be the printer head.. If it is new enough - call Kodak & maybe get a replacement.. If to old - maybe keep the color cartrige out and caped with the plastic caps until you need to print color.. Snap it in & out as needed..
I hope this helped..
