Question about Casio FX-260 Calculator
How do you calculate the percent of a number on a Casio fx-300s
Percentages are just decimals, multiply the number by the percentage expressed as a decimal:
for example, to find 50% of 4
4 x .50
to find 3% of 456, take:
456 x .03

calculators you do not usually get percents. Instead, you get values
which can be converted to a percent. For example what percent is 245 out
of 987. You divide 245/987=.248. This is essentially the same as saying
24.8 percent. You move the decimal over 2 values. You can also round to
get a nice percent number such as 25 percent.
If you are trying to put in a percent lets say you have to find 47% of 80. You just multiply .47 * 80= 38.4
