Question about Logitech Harmony 880 LCD Remote Control
This happened with mine. The problem is that the battery is not making a firm enough connection with the prongs. To fix it simply fold a small piece of paper about the size of a tic tac and slide it between the bottom of the battery and the bottom edge of the battery compartment. This will push up the battery against the prongs. It sounds crazy, but it will work. I've had my remote for over 1 year...same little piece of paper has done the job.

The first thing to try is Open the base unit and bend the three pronges so they protrude out farther and evenly. I had the same problem and this resolved the issue. The Base unit is very easy to open with screws on the bottom and it is easy to adjust the 3 pronges.
