How do you know with direction to put the battries LR44?

I think that model uses 2 LR44 coin batteries. They fit behind a panel on the base of the timer.

1.5V Battery X 1.(Typical No. LR44/A76/AG13/V13GA.)

may be battry is outdated or extra fully charged thats why sometimes it react like this or the size also bigger than normal battry so try new battry or check the PIN which is connected to battry when u put battry in mobile...thank you

The Irwin laser guides I've worked on take three LR44 button batteries.

I just bought a MT135 for a buck at an estate sale; it uses 357/LR44 button batteries. I put in a new set, and bingo, it works fine!!! If you find those batteries, buy them in quantity as they are much cheaper that way; you can find Chinese ones on cards of like 4 to 20 pieces for a couple of bucks.

Just changed my batteries 2 LR44 batteries positive side goes toward the back of the device, There are no markings on the holder to determine polarity!

There's no sure way to know when to change the batteries. I'd suggest you change them at least once a year. Plan on it when you do your smoke alarm battery change, which should be done at least annually.

The calculator needs to probably be reset (probable). You need to leave the internal battery out of the calculator for about 8 hrs. Put it back in and then put the AAA batteries back in. Hopefully this is what is wrong and then the calculator will worik.
