In printer control panel menu check the print width of the label according to the size mean to say if you have 4 inch label the print width set to maximum value if print width set minimum then cutts off the print.
To change from "page mode" (protrait) to "line mode" (landscape) you need to complete the following steps. 1. turn the power off 2. hold the feed button down 3. turn power on, the feed button should blink, release the button. 4. when the feed button blinks green, press and hold until it turns red or amber. release the button. 5. turn the power off. 6. hold down the feed button and turn power on, the button should blink and release. it will now print a calibration page. 4 blanks followerd by 2 text pages, the last saying "Now in DUMP" press feed to exit. on the first print, the 4th line down will say either page mode or line mode.
As far as the size it sounds like it might not be using the right resolution these come in either 200 or 300 DPI. Make usre your DPI is set to the same as the printer. If the printer is 300 and the design shows 200 then it will print rather small on the label. Not sure about the other issue.
the error you are getting is a label size error. a label variance of as little as 1/203th of an inch can cause this.
you need to recalibrate the printer to the media, hold feed when powering up the printer letting go once the light flashes 4 times. this will force the printer to autodetect the label size.
if you are specifying the label size in you software or driver settings, measure and double check the label size
are you able to give me 2 print dumps? change the printer port to file and post the files content here and I will tell you if it is a config/software issue, it sounds like the software is not setting the label home position correctly(R command)
