Question about T-Mobile Cell Phones

Wing with damaged screen

My wing fell on it's (touch-screen) face. It no longer has a screen, so no functions, other than receiving calls. Are new screens (slides) available? Where? Can or do they have to be ordered? How?
I'm a 'driver'. "Truck-friendly" access or parking isn't an option, in most cases. BUT! I need my phone. The numbers on the SIM card would be of some benefit.
Thx for the support.

You can buy a new screen and install it yourself from ebay, but i would not recommend it unless you are good with opening and installing electronics. if you want, you can have these guys fix your phone. they did a pretty good job with my sidekick lx charging port. their website is

Sorry to hear about your unfortunate problem. But water tend to damage the circuits. Get a new handset. Problems will continue even after repairing. Its a waste of time and money.

Dropped LG VX 5500 in water. Screen no longer lights up. Can receive and make calls. But cannot see screen.

When it fell in water, it entered the screen and damaged it that is why the screen is not lighting up.

The solution to that is to replace the screen, to get to the screen follow the process below:
Turn your phone over so the back is facing you. Remove the battery. Now remove the 4 screws,
These screws may be covered by some plastic covers. These simply peel off.
Next remove the 2 rubber stoppers & screws above the main screen,
Now remove the two screws below the main screen,
Run a fingernail along the join of the housing to unclip it,
The top of the phone should now be in two pieces,
Unclip the ribbon. This attaches like a plug and socket,
Now detach the top of the phone from the bottom. This involves a little force as it is a tight fit,
Double back the ribbon on itself so it is away from the LCD screen,
Use the screwdriver to lever the old screen out,
Replace the old screen with new and reverse the whole procedure for reassembly.

Take care and good luck

My touchscreen was working fine up until today. i guess i slept on it and something happened where i cant use the touch screen. Now its locked and i cant tap it to unlock my phone. I have the tmobile wing

in my years of having touch screen phones: they never end well.
they are very easy to break or mess up the touch screen. and once this has need a new one.
turn a claim in to your phone service. maybe insurance will get you new one. be careful!

Wing lcd frozen

First try taking the battery in and out, if that fails...
Try resetting the phone. On the left side of the phone, when the screen os facing you, you should see a small hole right in between the volume slide button and scanned disk slot. Stick a pen, or your stylus tip if you have one and you should be able to reset it.

Water damaged Moto razor

I know you don't want to here this, so be kind with your rating, but the best solution is a new phone. The reason is this: no matter what you do, water is a conductor and the dried residue it leaves behind will also short things out. And water will get to places that you can't.

Sorry, hope that helped save you some time...
