Creative live cam ( vf0050 ) and vista 32

to get this webcam working in vista do the following:

first turn off user account control UAC and restart your pc

explore the live webcam xp cd \drivers\english copy this folder to c:\temp you will have to create this folder.

so your webcam driver files should be now in c:\temp\english\

next goto control panel find the device manager icon and click it
in the list of devices you will find webcam live with a yellow question mark ie ? click on this with the right mouse button an select update driver software..

then tell it to browse computer for file at c:\temp\english\

then click ok the drivers will be loaded... Turn on you UAC and restart your pc

et viola !!! working live cam vf0050 on vista so why could'nt creative tell you all this....
