Question about Acer Aspire 3680 Laptop
I've had a few problems with my laptop that keep getting worse. First a few weeks ago it would just start shutting down for no apparent reason. I figured it was overheating so kept it on hard surfaces; it shut down less. Then a couple days ago a notification popped up saying my Isatap drivers failed. Now every so often a warning comes up saying "do you really want to turn off the wireless antenna?" and at the same time that the color scheme has been reset to vista basic. This usually happens a few times where I select no to the question before it eventually shuts down again.
Any help would be great!!!
Ok.. Seems like you have lot of issues. Lets deal with them one by one.
The over heating issue is common on many laptops especially while playing games. The simplest fix would be to update your BIOS. This will resolve the issue more often than not.
As for the remaining problems your chipset drivers are probably screwed which in turn have affected the graphics and wireless drivers. I would suggest that you re-install them all so that this issue can be resolved.
You can find all the drivers here
First update the bios, then the chipset driver followed by the grphics, wireless and any other stuff you want to.
Hope this helps,
