It appears that you may have battery power but, no accessory power. Check you radio fuse in the vehicle and, behind the radio.

SOURCE: Kenwood DDX 7017 bypass code

During code request mode:
Point the remote control to the screen and input this numbers (from the remote control) as faster as you can 55222277
You will not see any change on the screen until you enter the last number.
This will clear the code
If you make a mistake, just reset the unit and start from the top.
Thank you for rating

SOURCE: kenwood ddx-6019 password

a friend of mine who is into bypassing stuff...found this method from sumwhere and it worked on my system...
u need to reset the system first by pressing the small button right next to <ATT> using a ball point pen or something pointed... once it reboots, keep the <SRC> button pressed till the display goes off, then while keeping the <SRC> button pressed, press the <ATT> button for 3 seconds, while keeping both of these pressed at the same time, press the small <RESET> button next to the <ATT> button using something sharp... this hard resets the system and it reboots to a blank screen, press the <SRC> button once and you have all the options working...
anything else, lemme know... [email protected]

My soundstream vir 7200 won,t turn on. no visable fuses blown. how and where is reset button and is there a fuse behind the radio.

the reset button is on the bottom left side of the screen, as far as the amp goes check your connections. should have 12vdc on the + and the remote wire to the ground on the amp. if your good on the connections at the very least the protect light should be on. if its not then something is wrong with the amp itself. verify all connections before assuming its the amp first.

Windows won't start up? Well, try this Download Tenorshare Data Recovery from its offical site and install it. Burn it into CD/DVD, or USB flash, put into the computer you need to repair, Bios setting. It can make sure your important data will not lose. Best of luck

My aftermarket cd deck won't turn on in my Honda Civic. The Stereo is a Sony Xplod CDXGT700HD. I checked the fuse and replaced it for the hell of it. I tried using the reset button. I saudered all

You might want to check all of the fuses in the car. There should be a fuse box in the engine compartment and another under the dash somewhere.

Security Code for Protect mode

Turn on the car so the radio is flashing "Protect." Look on the front / removable face of the stereo. On it you will find a small round hole - that's a reset button. Find a small paper clip, unfold the clip and stick it gently into the hole. The "Protect" will stop flashing, and Kenwood will be displayed. Unfortunately all your settings/presets will be gone, but at least the stereo is working again!
