Facebook loading errors

I have had problems with facebook for months. I have a vista ultimate operating system. I use IE 7. I have tried everything, changing settings, virus checking, system cleaning, different explorer versions, even as far as factory reset.

Basically the page never loads properly, not even the sign in page, things are missing. I am uptodate with java and so on,

I cant use the chat, i cant use anything. The only way some items work is if i type an s after http in the top bar. But this is so annoying and doesnt seem right.

I get errors in the bottom left hand corner ranging from error 12 24,35, 203, 208.

Please help it is so annoying and i do not have these problem on any other computer.

Someone said as i have wireless connection e.g i have access to landlords access key, that it could be something to do with his ip settings? Is there any truth in this?

I have also read somethin about signal strength and the way signal strength goes back and fourth.

Last night facebook worked correctly for about 2 hours before going back to its usual errors. It seems the occassions it does work i have been logged in trying to browse for some time.

I have done a spyware and virus check again and nothing!

Also someone noticed when you right click on the page and view the page source, there are some instances in the html type which state the word false. What is this?

If you think the problem is in your internet connection probably your DNS if thats the case then try changing your DNS. some internet providers default DNS lets you not to get access some websites. in my case, i use as for my alternate DNS. try changing it and if it didnt work, just put it back where it was before. i dont wanna ruin your connection.=)

It seems your system has a problem with Java updates or some spyware infection. First way to fix this problem is by reseting the IE7, Tools-IE options- Advanced- Reset-Reset All. The other permanent solution is to download Mozilla Firefox which is a better browser than IE.

My enternet explorer doesnot work

Usually when Internet Explorer fails it's because something changed a setting in IE. To fix the settings go to Control Panel, Select Internet Options, go to the Advanced Tab and click on Reset. Restart IE and try again.

If that doesn't work you probably have viruses and spyware on your system. To fix that, remove the hard drive and scan it from another system as a secondary drive (the only real way to insure that the scan gets it all.) Then replace and scan with a good anti-spyware program like Malwarebytes and/or Spybot Search and Destroy.

After you have scanned and cleaned your system you may need to reset IE again.

First are you able to login to other websites like google , Microsoft etc ??
IF no then there is internet connectivity problem on the computer.
If you are able to visit these websites and not able to login or browse facebook then try installing Google crome that should fix the problem.

Unable to connect to internet on broadband, keep getting error message 651, Win 7. No problem prior to loading Win 7, used to have Vista Ultimate.

This a well known bug in Windows 7 specially when you migrate from Windows Vista to Windows 7.
The cause is a file "raspppoe.sys". This file will be found on the partition you have installed your operating system If it is C: partition then it is found on C:\Windows\System32\drivers.
To fix this bug simply rename it as shown as follows

(1)Rename this file from "raspppoe.sys" to raspppoe.old or any name it any name of your choice.
(2)Once this done simply restart

Good luck!

Problem with Windows Vista and Facebook?

I'm not suggesting you use Firefox, but download it to see if it works ok on a different browser. If it does, then IE is broken or there is some setting needs changed.

Can't download

Downgrade to IE 7. Also try using another browser. Such as the Google Chrome. Other wise try downloading the Internet Download Manager.

Uninstall the IE 8. From Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

REinstall the IE 7 From Contol Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add or remove Windows Components > Check the IE box. Click next and install.

Downgrading from windows 7 beta to windows vista

Did you happen to make a recovery point? Vista is pretty good about this. Restart your system and push f8 until you get to the recovery and troubleshooting. Then just use recovery console and restore it to a previous point. If you cant do this you might need to do a fresh install of vista.
