Mouse arrow projects as a square and I need an arrow
When I use my computer (MAC OS X),
the mouse appears as an arrow on my regular monitor, but on the
projected image, it appears as a box or tiny page or something. I need
it to project as an arrow. What can I do to make the arrow appear when projected?

Check the mouse to see if the battery/s are in correctly. + to + and _ to _. Make certain the USB receiver is inserted properly into an active USB port of the computer. Flip the switch on the mouse to ON. Should work!
try using a 15 pin d shaped plug (same as a monitor out) and press Fn and F2 buttons to scroll between screens Fn is next to your Ctrl, and sometimes it is not F2 but have a look at the little picture and there should be one of a square or a computer with an arrow pointing at a screen. hope this helped.
There is a function f-key combo that you need to toggle on your laptop. I'm assuming that you are just using a laptop. Depending on the manufacturer, the f-key will have either a square with a line beside either side. Maybe it says ctr/lcd, or it looks like two squares side by side. You will have to press the fn key at the same time as the corresponding f-key, up to three times, depending on manufacturer.
