42" Allure II Broan Range Hood I put a new bulb to replace

Burned out but did not light. Moved the other working bulb and that did not work either and when I put the working bulb back into the original socket it no longer worked either.

One bulb blew and my wife switched the good bulb to the other side. the bulb blew. I replaced both bulbs and only one side works now... the right side, the one that blew first. Any thoughts

Get two new bulbs and install them. These bulbs are exposed to a lot of heat above the stove and the filaments get brittle. I suspect that the filament on the bulb that still worked broke when you were screwing it out or back in. good luck. please rate my answer. thanks noreen.

Hey guys
These are halogen bulbs, so you must be very careful not to touch them with your bare hands. Use a paper towel, or even better latex gloves. The smallest bit of oil from your skin/ hands will cause the bulb to blow as soon as they get warm

Brake light failure

Bad circuit board tail light asseblise connector pin to board poor connection or burned push in light bulb sockets
On my '93 Chevy PU the new ones went bad within months I repaired the original ones by soldering all connector pins to the board cleaned the sockets chipping out melted plastic been working for five years now.
Care must be taken to keep solder from preventing wire connector install while using enough that plugging it in will not break these delicate unions.
Required pulling them several times to Finnish repair successfully.
Very disappointed in replacement parts.

I would say you have the incorrect bulbs in them.

Break lights and blinkers not working

If you put the tester on the outlets and it lights up properly but the bulbs dont, you have already concluded that the wiring isn't the problem. unless of course the wires are corroded and simply putting the bulb in shorts it out. Have you tested the bulbs?

2004 Chevy Impala lowbeam headlamp socket/connector burns--though bulb is fine. Replaced once already and now same socket has burned again--and the bulb is still okay. What gives?

Hi Miles, Have you replaced the head lamp bulbs and maybe used a higher output? That can overheat the fuses and or the connectors. The over heating and damage will usually be caused by loose connections causing high resistance and heating. Make sure the connections are tight. Regards John
