I need driver in xp sp3
i have HP G7000. it was vista. now i install xp sp3. i cant find which audio driver may work. from intels site i couldnt get all drivers too. please help me. be grateful to u all. please

Just follow the instructions on their website for the installation.

- HP does not supply XP audio drivers for your model. This is why I directed you to the generic driver for the sound card in your notebook. It should work fine.Cheers

Regarding you sound card drivers plz download Conexant High Definition Audio Driver at HP . You have to extract and manually update this from Device Manager (Control Panel).
For any other issues plz refer the Post here at http://www.laptops-drivers.com/hp-laptop/how-to-install-xp-into-hp-g7000-laptop.html

Every device has a Vendor and Device id associated with it. If you can find this ID, you can find the manufacturer. In Windows it's easy to find the vendor and device id.

- ok .. here is what you do plz provide me the Vendor and Device IDs.Every device has a Vendor and Device id associated with it. If you can find this ID, you can find the manufacturer. In Windows it's easy to find the vendor and device id.
- Open Device Manager (Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager)
- The hardware(here check under Sound,Video,GameController) whose drivers are missing will appear as Unknown device, so it's easier to locate the device.
- Right click on the unknown device and click on Properties.
- Under the Properties window click on Details tab and select Device Instance Id from the drop down box.
- You should see a code similar to this
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_27DC&SUBSYS_30868086
&REV_01\4&1E46F438&0&40F0 - Vendor ID = 8086 (four digits after VEN_)
Device ID = 27DC (four digits after DEV_)
