Question about Dell 810 All-In-One InkJet Printer
I tried to make a copy of a document (without switching on the PC). Forgetting which one is the right button to hit, I must have hit both scan and copy buttons one after the other. After some seconds, the printer made some banging noise and I notice a plastic band (about 0.4 mm thick, 8 mm height and a few centimeters short of printer's length): It has a hole at both ends.
The banging continues every time I switch on the printer. Appreciate some help to solve the problem.
There is a thin plastic strip that has small lines on it that stretches across the inside of the printer and fits trough the back of the print head. It is not in the slot of the print head or missing. I fixed my banging Dell 810 printer by putting it back in. I had no idea what it was at first. That's all I can tell ya.
