You get yourself a s-video lead..plug one end in pc and other in tv....
on pc f-keys look for the one with a "square" icon on it.(usually f4)
press the fn key and the f4 key together(at once) to switch form pc screen to tv..
make sure youve selected av on tv..you should have an av channel assigned to s-video if not you can assign one in menu settings.
on my tv I have 3 scarts 2 video i/o one front one back and a s-video..video i/o can also be used for audio though there are separate audio outputs.I also have mine linked upto a 10 ft projector screen via infra red so able to watch tv/sky or pc on projector in different room

Install keyboard HP 2000

http://www.insidemylaptop.com/hp-2000-laptop-disassembly/ Use steps 1, 2, and 8 - 15. Keyboard replacement is an easy job, just take your time and don't get frustrated when working through step 10. It can feel like you're about to break the KB but it is unlikely that you will.

Power up computer...hear the windows jingle but the screen is grey

Try connecting an external monitor and see if that gives you video - if that works, your laptop screen may have gone bad and need replacing. If it does not work, check that you are not running in too dark a screen or the wrong mode. I dont know specifically which HP key code changes this but there should be pictures on your "F" keys to indicate this. Remember to push down the"Fn" key at the same time.

How can I connect my laptop to my LCD TV through HDMI cable (brand:LG) (model:LF15 series) HD ready?

You'll need to make sure that your laptop & LCD TV have an HDMI port. If they both do, simply connect an HDMI cable from your laptop to your LCD TV and make sure the input on the LCD TV is set to receive A/V from the HDMI port.

HP Pavillion DV 6000. Turned it on and it shuts

Is heatsink connected to this problem? (sic) Most probably not, it is more than likely a simple Driver problem. Try to startup in SAFE MODE, press F8 at boot time. If this works you could run a "System Restore" back to a time before it went faulty. Or troubleshoot from safe desktop.

Screen flashes, picture is blurred. Then shuts down completely.

dv 6000 are notorious for a bad video chip on the motherboard have four here all with the same problem the issue is a nonlead based solder the motherboard would have to be sent out to get reballed
