Question about Computers & Internet
Have just installed a webcam and skype I can now phone and talk to people and see thier picture but when I send my video all they get is a snowstorm. I have windows explorer
I would need more details (type of webcam, operational system and skype version) to get a better solution, but there are some basic steps:
1- Make sure that the driver for your camera is the latest release - for that check on the webcam's manufacturer website;
2- Go to Skype, Click on tools > options > video settings and see if the field "Select Webcam" has the one that you're trying to use. If not, select it and see if your image appears.
3- Also make sure that you got the last skype version.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
