Question about Kenmore 73952 Gas Dryer
I have a gas Kenmore 70 seris dryer. About 6 yrs old. model number is 78702895, stock number-78702.
I checked the lint screen and outside to make sure it was clear of lint. The dsryer tumbles, but not heating up.
Should I check the heating element (not sure what or where that is) and what am I looking for. Is this an easy fix that anyone can do?
Before you call a technicia. check your thermal fuse which is located onn the back oif the dryer you will need to remove the back cover and it looks like this...it has 2 terminals.. on it...you can check itr with continuity..or unplugg your dryer...hook up the terminals...point is for em tyo make contactt do not hold it with your hand..and check to see if your igniter comes on.

Stephanie, your best bet is call a repairman. It sounds like the igniter ororifice is not getting the gas. If you are not sure what to look for, call for help. It will be worth it in the long run.
