Hi:
You need to explain more of your problem. What kind of computer, what is the OS, what kind of card or is it internal? A laptop or desktop?

The network may not be found because the drivers have not been installed, or if installed may have become corrupt from a number of reasons including viruses or related reasons.
Also is where is the message coming from? The operating system or some program? All of that will make a difference.

Glad to help when there is more information to the problem.

Acer how to setup

Hello. This may help. Your Wireless Network name and SSID are one in the same. Lot's of people will customize there wireless network name (SSID) like "smithfamily". However, if it wasn.t customized the default SSID should be used. This can be found on the sticker on your modem. Now then, as you know, when you try to connect to your network you are prompted to provide a network Key or PASSPHRASE. The same applies here as above, if it was customized then the Key or PASSPHRASE will be different then the default Key or Passphrase found on your router.--So when it say's you have a "badphrase", your Key or PASSPHRASE is incorrect.. Good Luck

My computer died we redid widows xp disk and it came back now i dont have wireless how do i get it back

Hi, you will need to reinstall the wireless card drivers, if this came with wireless as standard you should be able to download the drivers from the manufacturers support website, if it was added later on then it should have came with an install disc with the drivers on it.

Hope this helps

My network adapter is not found. I tried

First off, open control panel and click on the system . Then click on hardware and then device manager . See if your network connector is listed. if it's not listed them try restarting your computer and press F1 to access your bios screen. under the advanced option make sure your onboard LAN is enabled. if it is , then try using you're installing new hardware option in the control panel. I am assuming you are talking about in on board for LAN connection . if you are using a PCI LAN board and it won't install you probably have a bad board.

Hi there,

This normally means that you wireless network has found a network to connect to but it cannot assign anetwork adress because the network you have connect to is security enabled. U need to find our the password or get the network administrator to give you asscess to that particular network. Or you look at another network to connect to.

Regards,

Philip
