Blue curved line at top of screen and yellow curved line at botto
I bought this TV from a friend and it worked fine in his house, but when I moved it to my house (very carefully) it started having this blue curved line at the top of the screen and a yellow curved line at the bottom of the screen, (after about a week). Other than that it plays good.

Problem with plasma screens is that they do have a limited life, they also do not like to travel. You have to keep them upright because the glass panel is so heavy. Did you lie it flat for transportation? Is the black area in the middle bottom or in the corner? If it is in the corner, and the mounting point has a problem, it could cause this, but hard to say without seeing it. Does the black area retreat when it is off and cools down? I doubt if it is the system board, sadly if it is the display panel, it would not be worth fixing.
Let me know if you have more details... Good luck.
Try doing a system reset. Not sure it that's the term they use but that option basically resets the tv to factory default settings. It's in the menu somewhere. I've done the reset twice already for a similar problem. Solved it each time.
Check the power supply modular cable connection that is by itself in the upper right corner. On the one my son-in-law has the double yellow jumper wire that connects to this plug in two locations was loose (not properly inserted) in the modular connector and had worked it way out.
