Check the mouse to see if the battery/s are in correctly. + to + and _ to _. Make certain the USB receiver is inserted properly into an active USB port of the computer. Flip the switch on the mouse to ON. Should work!
Windows is problably exptending your desktop to the projector, like a dual montiro display. Try moving the mouse to the right, outside the laptop/computer screen and see if it appears on the projector.
If that's the case, go to advanced display properties and set the output to clone instead of extend desktop.
