Mesh computer tamper warning

I have just been given a mesh computer. When you switch it on the Bios halts with a warning that the case has been tampered with. There is a small switch on the case cover but the wire doesnt connect to anything on the Motherboard. Does this go to a power connector I wonder or somewhere else on the motherboard which is Athlon socket A.I've entered the bios and changed "halt on" errors to none
Can anyone help

How can I reset my system when it shows "lid tamper" and then says Master reset required

The lid tamper switch is a small limit-switch inside the computer case.
This lets repair techs know that the lid / cover has been opened since last serviced / purchase.
It could void any warranty if covered.
Usually, going into your BIOS settings at power-up will show a menu option for disabling the tamper feature.
Again, this action may be logged by the software in a hidden system file, readable by tech.
If no warranty, simply disable it.

I have a iBM t40 2373 Thinkpad when i turn it on i get 2 codes one is 0176 and the other is 0271

The first code is a tamper alarm indicating that the case has been opened and the second code is complaining about the time and date settings. It may just be that the cmos battery is dead and needs replacing because you will also get a tamper warning if the system thinks the battery has been disconnected. A lithium ion battery is good for about 10 years and this computer came out in 2003. Reboot, go into the setup for the bios, set the correct time and date. If this doesn't do it, you need to replace the battery and then configure date/time.

Chassis intruded fatal error system halted what can i do ro resolve it

Do you have the door on your computer case off? Just put it back on or go through your BIOS and find "halt on chassis intrusion" or something of that nature.

Chassis intruded ! fatal error...system halted

Your computer BIOS should have an option to turn this off.
Or you can probably place a jumper on the mother board so the "tamper switch" is always closed.

Consult your motherboard manual for more info.

How to fix chassis intruded ..fatal error..system it my cpu become damage?

It is unlikely that your CPU is damaged

You need to enter the BIOS and turn off chassis intrusion.

It is an option in the bios that is only useful if you have the switch on the computer case that supports it otherwise it will give you the error you see if enabled

there is a hardware switch connected to the bios that checks if the chassis has been opened or if it it opened yet.
you must deactivate it in the bios, or perhaps directly on the main board. (but thats risky)
You perhaps also need to close correctly the chassis, in order to access the bios where you will certainly find an option that allows you to deactivate the chassis protection check or whatever else with meaning of a lock or check state about the computer case
