Question about Phones
I do not have a manual for this system. I would like to purchase one. If there is not on available could you please let me know how to set up vociemail. Thank You, Margo
I am not a phone installer and we have another vendors' phone system here at our work.
It can be *extremely* difficult setting up these phone systems, even with a manual.
Here is one such link that might help:
Here is another forum that has lots of friendly folks that might be able to help
You will get an answer much sooner on there than here probably.

SOURCE: I recently purchased a Panasonic
It's available on the Panasonic website (http://www.pasc.panasonic.com/EpartR/PartsList.asp) for under $2 plus shipping, but for some strange reason can only be purchased during business hours.

Here is a link to your manual. You do not have to sign up for anything and there is no junk after.Click download, then enter the 5 digit code and press download again. It will open a menu.If you want to save it permananetly click save.It will most likely save to your documents folder. For 1 time use click run.It may not be the exact model number as yours, but one thing common among manufacturers is the technology they use stays mainly the same. This is to make support and manufacturing easier and also helps keep costs down.It should at least look very similar in operation to your model. You may want to save this site for future reference also.It is excellent and has a wide variety of electronics.I am not sure if you mean voice mail the the regular answert system so I am telling you where both are.The voicemail info is on page 36 and requires you to do it through your telephone provider. The answer system info is on page 30 and 31.If you have any questions or need more help, just comment here and I will get an autolink to your post and reply ASAP.Good luck,Greg

SOURCE: We had a company purchase
You don't need software to change it, only the manual. In the opening pages are the instructions to default the system and erase all the messages. If you have lost the oringinal notes, $120 isn't all that out of line for a dealer to break into the system and map out the custom service menus.. It's more that I would charge, but I'm not there.
Anyway, a 7731 is just a phone. It connects to a Panasonic system and the voice mail system is either part of the system or a seperate box. If it's a TVS, you access it via the serial connector and Hyperterm. If it's a TVA (black and blue box) you access it via the USB, serial, or LAN port.
It's initialized by the rotary switch or the dip switches on the box.
