Hi vmariposita, The wire with the green end goes into the connection socket on the back of the computer above all the rest of the connectors. That wire goes to your speakers, both left and right. The end with the yellow connector actuall is there to connect to a "Powered Subwoofer" if you have one. Dell sells a "2.1" speaker system that is a mate to your "Sigma Tel High Definition Audio" on-board sound system that comes on the Dell E310 model. So if you don't have the Dell speakers designed for your computer's audio system then you will be short one sub-woofer and a connector without a home.

I hope this helps you,
Greased

The speakers is the round green socket. The yellow 9 pin socket is a MIDI/Game controller socket.

Logitech OEM S220 2.1 Speaker Black Computer Speakers i just bought off amazon and i cant hear no sound i have put the colourd plugs into the right colour holes but still no sound...i have a laptop i hope...

1. there is an on switch on it, on the round thingy
2. try using an ipod or mp3 player to test, and only plug in the green wire
3. Make sure the volume is in mid range by turning the knob to the middle
4. Check connection to subwoofer
5. that's all I got, maybe it was not meant to be. But the sound on mine is pretty good :)

Wiring internal board of labtec computer speakers

The shielded wires are for ground, so they get connected together. Plug the wire into the PC and run some music. Then touch each wire to the others. You only have a couple of combinations to try...red-to-green and white-to-yellow, or red-to-yellow and white-to-green, . You can do this while the PC is one and music playing until you get sound thru the speakers. There virtually no current running thru the wires and you can't hurt the PC by doing this.
If the speakers use an external power supply, have it plugged in and working when trying these connection options.

I have logitech X 240 i need to hook them back to my pc, i cant figure it out, it either vibrates or a tone sound..."HELP""""

Hi. Did you plug in the subwoofer/control to the Green Slot on the back of your pc ? (should be green wire connected in the green slot)
Then you connect the 2 speakers in the back of the woofer. you will see a little slot with the label Speakers next to it.

Hope this helps, if this is not what you have already tried.

Logitech z680 speakers

Plug in the green cable to the green plug. To plug in the rest of the cables you will need to buy a 5.1 or greater sound card.
