Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop
I have the green thingy plugged in but i still have a another yellow lookoing (nine prong) thingy... im not computer savy please help!!!!!

Hi vmariposita, The wire with the green end goes into the connection socket on the back of the computer above all the rest of the connectors. That wire goes to your speakers, both left and right. The end with the yellow connector actuall is there to connect to a "Powered Subwoofer" if you have one. Dell sells a "2.1" speaker system that is a mate to your "Sigma Tel High Definition Audio" on-board sound system that comes on the Dell E310 model. So if you don't have the Dell speakers designed for your computer's audio system then you will be short one sub-woofer and a connector without a home.

The speakers is the round green socket. The yellow 9 pin socket is a MIDI/Game controller socket.
