Hello there! thanks for using Fixya.com!

I suggest that you should contact your Network Service Provider in regard with this Message Centre Details. It will be easier and accurate.

Thanks!

My nokia N96 is hving serious problem. message can't go . i tried to format the software

If after resetting the phone and you still can't send a message, then the problem is the SIM card. It can be operator service problem, empty of pulse, message setting has changed or there is no signal in your area.

My n96 is blocked by the network how can i unblock it ?

This is called a network lock, you have to get the phone unlocked using a JAF ot UFS toolkit, and if you dnt hav the toolkit then you can visit a mobile phone repair centre and do it.

N96 keeps crashing, shortcuts missing, messaging already in use

Its been a year so there must be definatel a newer firmware version available for your phone. Just get the Nokia Update Manager software in your computer and try updating the phone. Should solve all your problems and just make sure that you take a back up of your data because after an update you will loose all your phone memmory data. Mass Memory stays unaffected.

My new nokia n96 has the message icon flashing non stop.

the message icon means that your sim card has old messages still stored on it. change your message storage location to sim card so you can view them, then delete them, and change it back..

as for not showing missed calls, beats me.

Flashing message icon

The blinking envelope icon appears to be a reminder that you have your old SMSs still stored on your SIM card, and N96 needs them to be transferred to the phone memory -ether internal, mass storage or memory card- to properly display and manage them. So what you need to do is go to your menu, open Messaging, hit Options, select 'Sim Messages' and then transfer your SMSs to the N96 memory. Then do the same again & delete the SIM messages that will cure the flashing icon.
