Sony BM-246 working, then not

Hi,
I have bought a BM-246 off Ebay. He said the courts in Fla were remodeling their court and they were selling all stuff ''as-is.''

When I clean the heads and put the tape it, it works good. Then as I keep rewinding, it goes mickey-mouse on my and then stops rewinding. I have to keep stopping, clean heads, turn back on and start again. Any ideas???? I have a foot pedal on its way. Maybe it's because I keep hitting stop and rewind so much?

If your cassette stops but the counters keep rewinding the left hand rewind spool is worn. This is accessible from the top by carefully removing the little washer/clip and inspecting the drive hex.Parts may be a problem although this is not that common a fault in a bm246. If the counters stop along with the cassette there is a drive problem in the deck and you are is deep****. If the B deck is the sad one the machine may have been used with a footpedal as a transcriber. The decks are interchangeable however and with a bit of care you could get a usable machine.. just unable to rewind the bad deck. Good luck.

What are bail bonds and how do they work?

when a person is arrested by police, they will need to post bail to out of prison at the trial time.

If the judge approve the bail and set a bail amount that goes about as act between the court and defendant. At this time need a bail bond Agent or bail bondsman.

bail bond works in various ways:
  • If the full amount of bond is filled by the defendant this is called cash bond.
  • Everything of the bond is posted by the bail bondsman or for the benefit of the defendant in what is known as a money security. On the off chance that they defendant goes to all court dates, the contributor of the money security will get back their cash, less any court costs, court charges, fines, and other criminal punishments.
  • A surety bond is obtained through a bail bondsman. The buyer pays a set charge to a bail bondsman who thus gives the court the bond. For whatever length of time that the respondent does not miss any court dates, no further monies are paid to the bail bondsman.
  • On the off chance that a respondent skips court trial and doesn't show up at a court date, the bail will be diffused . At this time, a defendant bail is paid through a bail bondsman, the bail bonds man has the power to find the litigant and surrender him or her to the court.

What is the definition of circuit court

In olden times, judges traveled from location to another within their jurisdictions, holding court in various places. Over time, they returned again and again to the same places, These regular routes came to be called circuits, and eventually the courts themselves became known as circuit courts. In more modern times, the judges are more likely to stay in one place, though some still travel a circuit. Despite the modern practices, the old names persist in many states. So, the definition of circuit is no longer particularly relevant. Think of the word as simply the name given a category of courts in some judicial systems. Generally, the circuit courts are courts of "general" jurisdiction, meaning they are the catch-all courts having authority over cases not having any other courts with "special" or specifically designated authority over them. Typically, circuit courts will try felony (or more serious) criminal cases, will have unlimited power to issue money judgments, and will have so-called "equity" powers (injunctions, divorces, performance orders, etc.). Interestingly, in the federal judiciary, where there are no courts of general jurisdiction, the intermediate appellate (appeal level) courts are organized in thirteen judicial circuits, each one taking in several of the 94 judicial districts with their trial level courts.

I bought a used car the guy i bought it from said that every thing was good but the transmission was bad what can i do about it

Either confront the seller and tell him that you will take this to court. Or, take it to small claims court. (about $25 filing fee).

I tend to sell/trade many cars. I always right up a contract that I make the sellers sign so they can't go back on their word.

SONY BM-147 TRANSCRIBER

If there is no sound on a channel, and you know the recording is there, then you either have a bad head or a broken wire at the tape head.

Problems about areas

Let x = the width of the women's court. Then 2x is the length of the women's court.
the area of the womens court is x times 2x = 2x^2

the length of the mens court is 4 ft longer than the women's or 2x + 4
The width of the men's court is 5 ft wider than the womwn's or x + 5

The are of the mens court is 650 square feet larger that the womens so we have to add 650 to the area of the womens court so the men's and women's will be equal

Now we have area of the women's court = area of the men's court

2x^2 + 650 = (x + 5) (2x + 4) = 2x^2 + 14x + 20

The x^2 cancel out and we are left with 14X + 20 + 650 solving for x we get x = 45

Plugging x back into the length and width equations we get the length is 94 and the width is 50

Hope this helped

Good luck Loringh
