Question about RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone
Your Blackberry is locked to the carrier which has sold it to you. So, you'll need your IMEI# and contact your carrier for an unlock code. They then put the request to the manufactor (RIM) and you'll recieve notification of how to unlock your phone via e-mail. Or, you can call back to your carrier within 5-7 days and they'll have the code and procedure for you. You can find the procedure at www.blackberry.com/btsc
They won't have the code. Because the code is IMEI spefic. There are web site which will sell you unlock codes. Why pay, when you can contact your carrier and get it without any costs.
