Your mobile doesn't have and doesn't need a pincode. What reqiures a pin code is your simcard. So if your phone is prompting for a pin code, it means you should enter the sim pin code. Each network carrier has a default pincode. I want 2 assume you never changed it. So you would have to enter the default. Check your original sim starter pack, the pin code is printed on it. If you cant find the pack, ask anyone using your network for your networks default pin code. They have to be sure of the number cos if you wrongly enter it 3 times, the network would block your line and ask for PUK code, which is another issue. If nobody around knows it or is sure of the actual digits, this is what you do. Get another sim card but of the same network as yours. Call your customer care and tell them you dont know your pin. They should help you further. Please let me know if that was helpful. Have a nice day.
Just follow the instruction carefully as what the phone is asking.
Here is the steps :
If you got error lately, just turn off you mobile for 1 hour to reset the counter, cause if you continue entering wrong codes, the seem might be rejected or it goes like "simcard rejected
* turn on your mobile (mobile should be off for 1 hour to reset the counter) * if ask for the PUK code, enter it * If ask for a "NEW" PIN code, enter your new desired PIN code * If ask to verify the code, just retype your new desired PIN code.
PUK codeand PIN Code:
Pleasedont try more than 3 times. If you try more than 3 times the Sim will getlocked. And it will ask for PIN code. Both these PUK and PIN code can be givenonly by the network service provider. Please call the network service providerof your mobile. And ask him to provide the PUK code or PIN code.He will ask yousome basic details like name, date of birth for his verification. And hewill provide you the PUK and PINcode. This is done for free of cost.
Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Pincode stands for PERSONEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER. It is the
fourdigit number which is used to lock the phone. The phone will ask for
the code when you switch on it.With out entering the correct pin code
you can't access your phone. If you enter the pin code wrongly for a
specified(normally 3)number of ties your sim will get locked. You can't
use that sim in other phones also without unlocking it.PUK code
(PERSONAL UNLOCK KEY)is used tounlock the sim card if it is blocked.PUK
code is provided by the network operators. If the PUK code is entered 10
times wrongly the sim card gets permenantly blocked.
just call ur network provider customer care and ask for the puk code.
pin number for sim card? when you turn the phone on it asks for pin code and you don't know the pincode? tryed default codes? is this new sim card? possible default codes are 0000 or 1234 also if you enter the pin code wrong too many times the sim card will lock and ask for puk code, to get puk code call your phone service provider, with puk code you can reset pin code.
The default pincode is 0000, so if you didn't enter one yourself I think it's still the same. Te puk code is to e used when you loose your pincode. With it, you can also change the pincode. You can try and fill in your PIN code 3 times. I'd say: try 0000 first. If it doesn't work, change your pin using the PUK code you already found. FYI: The PIN-code is the security code you mentioned.
