Question about Sebo Automatic X1 Bagged Upright Vacuum
Purchased replacement Sebo power cable, but having removed the crosshead screw from the aluminum handle shaft cannot figure out how to gain access as the plastic handle will not withdraw from the metal shaft. Is there a trick to dismantle the handle assembly?
From memory the plastic part slides up a little, enough for you to access the wiring. I'll try and have look at work tomorrow.
Warning though! you need to do this work with the handle laying flat, the screw hole upwards - it may be already too late as there is a nut that slides away and can be tricky to get back
