Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18K Digital Camera
I can remove the pictures from memory but it is impossible to take a picture and it is impossible to reach the menu(blocked) and to put "off"...i have to remove the battery
The reason that you may not be able to get to the menu item that you need as described in the manual is that you are trying to make the change in the "IA" (Intelligent Auto) or preview mode. Several menus *e (quality etc.( are inaccessible in this mode. Change to ANY other mode and you should be able to update the settings (including deleting your internal memory. Obviously you probably should be using an SD or SDHC card to take more pix than your internal memory will allow--I'd recommend 4-8gb cards--especially if you are going to shoot in RAW mode.
