All games have a criteria your machine needs to meet to play games, from processor power, Ram, Storage capacity and Graphics performance, most laptops are useless for games. on the back of your PC-Game Rom dvd cover they should list the Minimum allowance for the game to run, other issues are - Is the game built for xp or an earlier version of windows (if using windows) does your disc need cleaning, can you find a digital download version of the game?.
More info about your computer would help narrow down the issue ie Os system, Ram, make, model ect...
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator Driver.
delete/reinstall the whole graphics driver for your laptop, not only this file.
find the original SETUP on the harddrive or manufacturer's dvd or support website ! Or even find a more recent version
good luck (my own laptop is 2009 ! : what a mess with ATI)
Make sure the input on the TV is set to hdmi port 2. If it doesn't automatically view on the TV, you have to go into the graphics card adapter settings to set the view to an alternate monitor (your TV). Normally there's also a hotkey command as well (normally one of the F# keys) to switch between displays
Are you sure you downloaded the correct driver update for your system? Head over here to the NVIDIA website. Make sure you have selected the right OS version and bit. You could also select option 2 and click graphics drivers. This will download and install the correct drivers according to your system.
Dear Friend , after reviewing your Problem.. my Suggestion is that.. the game which want to play it.. its the full Graphic Version of game.. and your Pc or your Graphic Card Does not supporting the Game which one u want to play it... some before playing the game.. Read the minimum requirement of the game.. if its match your system configuration so thats mean.. u will play it after when cookies enabled.. and if its not match your system configuration , so thats means... that game u will not play it ..
Please send me detailed specs of your laptop and the minimum requirements for the game
Most likely you have a graphics card issue. Please confirm if its an intel, ati or nvidia graphics chipset.
Next confirm the pixel shader version. You'll probably need at least a 2.0 to play the game. some softwares and games can report a wrong pixel shader version. You should also try downloading the latest drivers.
If your Graphic Card does not support the 3D options, you won't be able any 3D PC games!
You have to look at your PC/Laptop specifications & the PC games requirements to play any higher graphic PC games. For any PC gaming PCs you have to install "DirectX' ie. latest version and updating graphic cards drivers too.
Laptops in general usually have weaker graphics cards. You don't mention the model of the Toshiba laptop you have, so I can't really tell what graphics chipset is used in your case. If it's an old laptop (i.e. you bought it second-hand) then it's possible that there's not much you can do about it.
On the other hand, if it's a relatively modern model (released in the last 2-3 years) it should have enough horse-power to play games, albeit in lower resolutions/details than a desktop graphics card.
Make sure you have the latest graphics driver installed for your model (and Windows version). Again, since you don't mention which model that is, I cannot give you a specific link to get it from. Try Toshiba's website and go from there.
You can find the model name underneath the laptop, usually on a silver sticker near a corner.
Hope that helps!
RECOMMENDED SYSTEM CONFIGURATION: Windows 2000/XP Procesador P IV 3GHz/AMD Athlon 3000+ (3GHz for Celeron) 1 GB RAM Video card: GeForce 6800/ATI Radeon X800 Sound card DX 9 compatible 700 MB of free space on hard drive DirectX 9.0c
Please note that video cards that do not support hardware pixel shaders
version 2.0 or better do not fully meet the game's minimum spec and
will therefore suffer performance issues. The Game was not tested with onboard graphics cards, including laptops. Supported
video cards at time of release: nVidia GeForce 6600, 6800, 7600, 7800,
7900, ATI Radeon: 9800, X800, X1300, X1600, X1800. X1900
if your system specifications cannot met the games requirements, sorry to say this but you cannot play the game.
Does your machine meet the games minimum requirements?
If so have you tried turning the graphics down in your game interface?
Laptop Graphics cards usually use your systems memory so they have a harder time rendering complex graphics. I play WoW and have my graphics turned up on my desktop but have them turned down to minimal for my laptop.
Vista also takes allot of system memory thus leaving less for your video card. If you are going to play games on it on a regular basis I would suggest you have a minimum of 2GIGs of memory.
